After breakfast, visit Ross Island- from where the Britishers' governed the entire A&N lslands, prior to India’s Independence. This island is an ideal destination for nature walk amidst sylvan surroundings with deer’s, peacocks, exotic birds, etc. After visiting Ross Island, the same boat will take you to for Excursion to North Bay (Coral Island)- to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fishes and other marine life. Departure (0845 hrs.) Makruzz from Port Blair – Havelock. The Makruzz takes 1.5 hrs. to reach Havelock. On arrival proceed to Hotel and in the evening proceed to Beach No 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the ‘Best Beach in Asia’ by Time Magazine Radhanagar Beach is the most beautiful on the island and was rated as the best in Asia by Time in 2004. Gorgeous, silky white sand backed by a forest that provides welcome shade looks out over turquoise water, some stretches with a sandy bottom good for swimming and some with excellent coral reefs that are great for snorkeling – a great combination indeed. Sunsets here are often spectacular and it's a popular time to be at the beach but be careful not to miss the last trucks back if you're not staying here. A man with an elephant walks through the forest occasionally, offering rides for a fee. Buses run throughout the day until sunset, as do auto-rickshaws and shared 4 wheel-drive trucks. There are a few food shacks where the road hits the beach, all of which rent snorkels and fins. (Ac Car/ Jeep will be provided for pickup and drop, time spent 2-3 hours). The boat goes right up to the beach and it’s so easy to slip on your gear and just start snorkelling. It’s also a great place to just spend the day lying on the beach and relaxing. The beach is very scenic with fallen trees and white sand giving the photographer some interesting shots. The reef here starts very close to shore at a depth of about 1 metre. The large reef is mostly made up of hard coral and has plenty of marine life. Note: Inclusive of snorkelling equipment and car pick up and drop to jetty. The encloses a stunning golden beach with soft sands and lush green surroundings dense with bushes and coconut palms. This renowned marine park encloses part of open sea & a number of small and large islands and creeks. This is one of the world’s best-known scuba diving location in Andaman. One can get a close look of underwater marine life in the beaches of this National Park, including corals and sea weeds.
Jolly boy/Red skin island This island is located inside the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park and flaunts of having almost white sand beach with canopies and dense bushes. A mixture of both shallow and deep waters, the island is perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving. Rich in colourful and beautiful fauna, the underwater marine life here is fantastic. Jolly Buoy/Red Skin island can be easily accessed by boats from Wandoor, which is 30 km from Port Blair. It will take around one hour to reach the island from Wandoor. Due to the fragile ecosystems, the use of plastic is restricted in Islands.
